Welcome to the web page of the Luffing Lassies!

Luffing Lassies is an organization of fun loving women sailors who are members of the
Sarasota Sailing Squadron (SSS). On Thursday mornings, the Luffing Lassies practice sailing skills
and race Sunfish or Pram sailboats in the beautiful breezes of Sarasota Bay.
As members of the Florida Women’s Sailing Association (FWSA), the Luffing Lassies have the opportunity
to enjoy interclub competition with other FWSA sailing clubs and to participate in open regattas.

Our members agree that Luffing Lassie clinics, racing competition, ‘fun sails’ and social events are top notch!
