*The City of Sarasota requires SSS members who are not city residents to pay a premium to use the SSS.  This premium is 50% of dues and initiation fees and is remitted directly to the City of Sarasota.

  • Members who have not paid dues by March 1st will be assumed to have forfeited membership and will need to pay initiation fees when they re-join.
  • Any member who has not paid an indebtedness within 60 days forfeits membership privileges.
  • Any member who has not paid an indebtedness within 90 days shall have membership automatically revoked.

Members who use the SSS docks pay Dock Access+FOAM fee; this fee is waived for members paying storage fees for a sailing vessel.
Boat storage rates are based on road trailerable width of 8′; additional fees may apply for boats larger than 8′ wide.
The management reserves the right to relocate any boat at any time.
All SSS members are required to volunteer at least 8 hours per year or pay the Volunteer Opt Out Fee.
