Polls close Wednesday, November 28th, 2018 at 4 PM

VOTING INSTRUCTIONS

Every Vote matters, so please vote!

For your vote to count, you must be a member in good standing. A member in good standing is current on dues and fees payments, and has no unresolved complaints on file. Eligibility will be determined by an inspection of member records by office staff in mid-November. That report is privileged sensitive information and will only be available to those counting the votes.

To vote, please follow these instructions:

  • Review the Bylaw changes and vote or the change individually or all together.
    • If you agree or disagree with all of the changes, you can vote just once by checking Accept ALL of Reject ALL. This can save you time.
    • CAUTION: If you choose this option, counters will not count the votes for individual changes.
  • Sign and date the ballot OR the envelope the ballot is within (if you are concerned about privacy).
  • Drop the ballot into the BALLOT BOX at the Squadron OR Mail it, Attention Elections.
  • Ballots must be received before deadline, so allow for delivery time.

Ballots must be received before the polls close on Wednesday, November 28th, 2018 at 4 PM.

One (1) VOTE per MEMBERSHIP

If you vote more than once, only the last ballot will be counted.

  • In the Burgee edition mailed to your home
  • At the Squadron Office

 

 

Please don’t forget to

sign and date

your ballot or the envelope.

 

If there are multiple pages,

please staple them together.

 

 

 

Please be aware that the ballot consists of two (2) pages.

All ballots must be received by 4 -PM Wednesday November 28, 2018

Any ballots received after this deadline will NOT be counted.

This ballot is a proxy to conduct the Annual Membership Meeting.

Officer Roles and Responsibilities
Commodore The Commodore shall have command of the Squadron and shall call a meeting of the Board of Directors not less than once each month and special meetings of the Board as provided for in these Bylaws. The Commodore shall appoint an election judge and committee to preside over the election process.

 

 

 

 

 

 

These two changes to the By Laws will allow SYS and Lassie Board members to serve concurrently on the SSS Board. This will also be the case when Sail Sarasota is officially launched later this year or in 2019.
