Coming off a lively weekend at the Club, as we hosted our Club’s first Open House of the year, the 2013 Windsurfing Classic, The Venice Windjammer and the Youth program and Cub Scout pack 100, I’m reminded of the formidable volunteer army and the influential role they play in our organizations mission and success. The success of the many events and seminars we offer are unmistakably a result of your hard work, dedication, passion, pride and a vast spectrum of skills. Cheers to the volunteers!
With that said, “calling all volunteers”. Next on the radar is a monstrous March as we entertain the 2013 FSSA Midwinter Championship Regatta, 2013 North American Sunfish Midwinters, Pot o’ Gold Regatta, Club Pot O’ Gold dinner and 2013 Sarasota One Design Midwinters.
Come join in the fun. Get involved when you can and I look forward to seeing you around the “Club”.
